Our residents and their families and friends have been very generous in giving to Friendship Village over the years. Your support will enable us to continue to provide fine programs and services.
Tribute Gifts
Celebrate special occasions or a lifetime of achievement with ‘In Honor Of’ gifts. Tribute Gifts also serve as a special expression of sympathy when donated ‘In Memory’ of a friend, colleague, or loved one.
Planned Giving
You can ensure a legacy of leadership while meeting personal estate and financial goals by making a planned gift to the Friendship Village Foundation. Besides a cash donation, planned giving options include:
  • Appreciated Property: Stocks, bonds, a house, farmland, or any asset now worth more than when acquired
  • Wills: a frequent form of planned giving
  • Charitable Gift Annuity: Can provide a fixed income for the donor while providing tax benefits
  • Life Insurance: Transferring an existing or purchasing a new policy creates a large gift from a small cash outlay
  • Trusts: Many options exist to transfer income or assets for a meaningful contribution

Your donation bears great fruit

Click on the 'Donate' button to make a one-time or recurring contribution now. Your gift will go directly to our 501c3 parent organization, Friends of Faith Retirement Homes, and will be used for the most pressing need.

Or, direct your gift! There are two ways you can benefit our residents today and for decades to come — the Friendship Village Foundation and the Friendship Village Auxiliary.

Friendship Village Foundation

The Friendship Village Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of residents, community volunteers and members of the Friends of Faith Retirement Homes, Inc. board. Gifts are recognized on donor plaques in the main lobby at Friendship Village.

An Endowment was established for donors who wish to designate their gifts. Donors may select from among three funds:

1. Benefactor Fund: Helping Village Neighbors
These gifts are used exclusively to help people. Request of the Foundation might include hardship situations or final arrangements. Gifts to the Benefactor Fund allow Friendship Village to continue quality care for residents facing financial distress.

2. Achiever Fund: Completing Village Projects
Every Achiever Fund project solves an immediate problem. Staff, residents and family members help identify short-term projects that can become reality with adequate resources. Resident comfort, security, access, entertainment, health and communication have all benefited from the Achiever Fund support.

3. Builder Fund: Building a Better Village
Friendship Village prides itself in providing safe, comfortable and beautiful facilities with a full compliment of quality services. Senior living needs, market conditions and regulatory requirements change. Friendship Village must keep pace by anticipating and addressing those developing community needs.

Gifts of $1,000 or more annually qualify the giver for a gold leaf on the Friendship Village Foundation tree.

Checks should be made to: Friendship Village Foundation, Inc.

Friendship Village Auxiliary

The Friendship Village Auxiliary is tax-exempt under the umbrella of the Foundation’s 501(c) 3 status. The Auxiliary membership of hundreds of people contributing countless hours of volunteer time and also many dollars to projects support resident life. The Auxiliary’s largest project provided funding for a new, state-of-the-art personal response system for the Pavilion.

Gifts to the Auxiliary are recognized through personal acknowledgement cards to the donor and to the family of the deceased. Over the past 20 years, the Auxiliary has funded projects costing over $500,000.

Gifts to the Auxiliary should be made out to: Friendship Village Auxiliary.
