Spiritual Care

We believe your spiritual growth doesn’t stop when you retire. We provide plenty of opportunities and encouragement to dive as deep as you wish into the Bible, no matter your denominational affiliation. Chaplains are available to provide counsel and guidance, too.

Of course, spirituality can be a very private matter. Friendship Village boasts guests and family members representing every faith you can imagine. What you believe (or even if you don’t) doesn’t matter as much as making certain that Friendship Village is a place of acceptance, care, grace and love. Friendship Village was founded by pastors and lay members who wanted a place that allowed more time for spiritual reflection and study in retirement. We take our heritage seriously and strive always to serve as Christ would.

We hope you will see our faith evident in the little things; the respectful way we greet you, the care we take in keeping the place clean, the quiet conversations we share when life takes a difficult turn.
