Alison Henkle has been a part of the Friendship Village team since 2019.

Alison started her career in working in the banking and mortgage finance industry for 20 years before moving into Human Resources. She has a BA in Human Resources Management and Master’s in Business Organizational Design & Development. She has her OSHA 10 certificate and holds several certificates in a variety of training programs. She has been in the Human Resource field for 20 years and has worked HR in manufacturing, retail, and non-profits before making her way to Friendship Village.

As the Human Resources Director, she is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. She works cross departmentally to develop and implement employee manuals, job description and other organizational policies and procedures. Alison oversees the HR team responsible for recruiting and hiring of staff, onboarding, staff leaves, workers compensation and other staff related items.

In her free time you can find Alison volunteering at church and in the community. She is currently serving on 3 non-profit boards. She loves spending time with her grandkids, being in the outdoors, camping, hiking or on the water kayaking and paddle boarding.
